Colon Cancer Screening

The ACS recommends that men and women aged 50 and older should participate in a colon screening. However younger patients who have a family history of colon cancer are also encouraged to come in.

Colorectal cancer is one of the more treatable forms of cancer. The earlier the cancer is identified, the greater chance there is of recovery.

Did you know that about 10% to 15% of colon cancer cases are inherited?

People with a personal or family of colorectal cancer should undergo treatment at a younger age in order to identify the stages of cancer. If you're interested in scheduling a colonoscopy (CRC Screening), sigmoidoscopy, or an EGD, please call Dr. Nemoto's Office at (713) 467-2700 .
